Talk about a statement floor! Cherry Carpet & Flooring teamed up with Terry Umberger of InterfaceFLOR on this awesome flooring project. The vibrant colors of the Interface Luxury Vinyl Tile completely transformed the Sentara Obici Childcare Facility.

Patcraft Commercial Flooring Design

Cherry Carpet and Flooring installed Patcraft Commercial custom carpet tiles throughout this beautiful Norfolk icon. Cherry Carpet and Flooring has been honored to be the only flooring company who has installed the carpeting in this iconic buidling since it's original installation of 1972.

Cherry Carpet & Flooring installed multiple styles, manufacturers and colors to complete this project. The products installed include Shaw’s Naturelife sheet vinyl in color Japanese Oak and Young Hickory. Tandus provided carpet in styles Tributary in colors Seabed and Rainbird, South Branch in colors Seabed and Rainbird, Poise in color Wind Chimes, Pirouette in color Wind Chimes, Meridia in color Raw Tourmaline, Tapis in color Raw Tourmaline, Plexus in color Coffee Bean and Abrasive action walk-off tile in color Asphalt all with a Powerbound medfloor backing. From Armstrong we installed Stonerun vinyl flooring in color Token. Solid Vinyl tile from Centiva was installed from the Event series in colors Moroccan Quartzite, Cordovan Sandstone, European Cherry and American Oak. From the Venue Series we used colors Bisque and Greige. Vinyl flooring was installed from Lonseal that was part of the Loneco Linen Collection in color Ecru. Gerflor was installed in style Teraflex in colors Wood Natural and Wood Chocolate. Cherry Carpet installed Altro’s Stronghold 30 in color Tundra and style Dolce in colors AD514 and AD508. Teknoflor Mountainscapes sheet vinyl was installed in color Palisades. Johnsonite provided millwork base style Monarch and color Snow white was also used as well as cove base in colors Saddlebrook and Pebble.

RRMM Architects

An innovative and inspirational renovation designed by RRMM Architects and fabricated by Cherry Carpet & Flooring. The Outtakes Restaurant is part of Nauticus, a contemporary maritime museum on the Norfolk harbor.Designer Charlotte Hunt working with Cherry Carpet & Flooring used Armstrong Vinyl to incorporate intricate wave and surfboard patterns throughtout the installation.

RRMM Architects received the 2009 HR ACRE Excellence in Development Design Award, Award of Merit, Best Renovated/Historic Renovation.

Armstrong Commercial Flooring featured the project and case study, published in Solution Spotlights.
